Last Sunday we headed up to Bourgeau Lake again. We’ve done this trip a few times now and really enjoy it each time. It’s a fairly gradual climb up to the lake and then a nice quick run back down for 15 km total. There was too much snow to go up to Harvey Pass this time. It was also getting dark quite early as the sun was tucked behind Mount Bourgeau at only 1:30 pm after the time change. We got new microspikes this year and put them to good use as there was quite a bit of snow on the trail just a few kilometres into the climb. Scenery was stunning as always!

Forgot to take a selfie at the lake but remembered part way down.
